College of Physicians and Surgeons (P&S)

Sep 26.  The College of Physicians and Surgeons of Chicago opened with a class of 100 students and a faculty of 27 physicians.  Founded by Charles Warrington Earle, Abraham Reeves Jackson, Daniel Atkinson King Steele, Samuel McWilliams and Leonard St. John, the school was located at Harrison and Honore streets.
